First4Lawyers has appointed Jacqueline Speight from Minster Law to the newly created role of head of claims.
A qualified solicitor with more than 10 years of experience in personal injury, Speight spent four years at Minster Law, most recently as a complex case handler dealing with high-value, complex injury and negligence claims.
Prior to this, Speight worked at Halifax firm Benjamin Roberts Solicitors. She initially joined the firm as a paralegal before later qualifying as a solicitor.
In her new role as head of claims at First4Lawyers, Speight will lead a team that handles more than 200,000 enquiries per year covering all aspects of personal injury and clinical negligence, as well as other legal services.
Her appointment comes amid a period of significant growth for First4Lawyers, which has seen the marketing collective generate 25% more claims across disciplines compared to the same period in 2017.
Qamar Anwar, managing director at First4Lawyers, said: “During what is a particularly tricky time for those operating in the personal injury sector, demand for legal services remains high and we are seeing continued growth with a 48% increase in web traffic and a 36% increase in the number of enquiries we are generating.”
“Jacqueline’s appointment reflects the demand the business is experiencing and allows us to ensure we provide the highest levels of service without compromising on quality to our panel firms, and ultimately consumers.”
