Autoglass BodyRepair and Covéa agree three-year partnership

Autoglass BodyRepair, the mobile body-shop repair specialist, has agreed a new three-year contract with Covéa Insurance.

The new partnership, which went live on 3 July, sees Autoglass BodyRepair offer mobile repair services to Covéa’s customers across the country.

Autoglass BodyRepair was awarded the contract on the back of strong customer feedback and the mobile body-shop repair specialist’s commitment to complete work within a single day.

The contract is the development of a long-standing relationship between Covéa and Belron, the parent company of Autoglass BodyRepair and Autoglass. Covéa and Belron have been working together for 17 years.

Greg Stansfield, sales and marketing director at Autoglass BodyRepair, commented: “I’m really pleased to work with Darren and the team at Covéa Insurance to continue providing solutions for customers with, with real empathy and care.”

Darren Bedford, claims motor engineer manager at Covéa, said: “Covéa Insurance is delighted to extend our long-term relationship with the Belron group to add this innovative enhancement to our customer focused repair journey options.”

Autoglass BodyRepair has been carrying out vehicle body repairs since 2001, providing a national service to repair cosmetic damage to vehicles through its 250-strong team and 150 mobile body-shops..

It uses the latest artificial intelligence technology in the form of IBM Watson to pre-assess damage to a vehicle from photos submitted by the customer, offering minimum delay from damage to repair completion.
