Allianz Insurance has appointed Graham Stait as head of claims suppliers and experts.
The new appointment will also see Stait become a member of Allianz‘s claims management board.
In his new role, Stait (pictured) will be responsible for leading the motor engineer and claims investigator functions, in addition to overseeing the supplier services team.
After joining the Allianz graduate programme in 2008, Stait held a variety of leadership roles across the organisation.
In his most recent position as claims proposition and change manager, Stait was responsible for delivering improvements to enhance customer experience and streamline claims processes, with a particular focus on digital initiatives, which included a secondment at Allianz’s Global Digital Factory in Munich.
Allianz chief claims officer Graham Gibson said: “I am very pleased to welcome Graham to his new role and the claims management board.”
“Since joining Allianz in 2008, he has built up a strong knowledge of the market and our customers, alongside a proven track record of delivering positive results and a passion for digital initiatives.”
Automotive safety and repair group Thatcham Research appointed Gibson as the new chairman of its board recently.
