Fenchurch Law has expanded its team with the appointment of Anthony McGeough as an associate following increased demand for insurance coverage dispute services across its practice areas.
McGeough will support insurance brokers and their clients across all the firm’s practice groups, including construction, property, financial and commercial, professional and product, and environmental.
He joins from Edwin Coe where he was an associate focused primarily on advising on property and business interruption coverage disputes with insurers.
Previously, McGeough was a trainee with insurance risk and commercial law firm BLM, where he acted for insurers in coverage and liability disputes on construction, professional negligence, and employer and professional liability matters. He is a member of both the British Insurance Law Association and Junior Lawyers Division.
Commenting on his appointment, McGeough said: “Fenchurch Lawhas a formidable reputation in the insurance market for protecting policyholders’ interests. I am excited to be joining a firm that has such an entrepreneurial culture and ethos that allows its people to achieve the best outcome possible for its growing client base.”
David Pryce of Fenchurch Law added: “Policyholders have never been in more need of support than during the past 18 months, and we’re delighted to have been able to bring Anthony into the team to help meet growing demand across each of our practice groups.”
“The fact that he has experience of both sides of the market was important to us, and his commitment to policyholders was clear from our very first discussions with him. We’re delighted to welcome him on board.”
